About Tranquil Iris

Hello, my name is Lynn Van Hoose and I'm the owner of Tranquil Iris, which was founded in 2022. I feel pillar candles are not only art, but a unique way to add something to everyone's life and a way to display inclusion. I'm based in Toledo, Ohio.

I have a 22 year old daughter Aubrey. When she moved out, her bedroom became the office of Tranquil Iris and a candle making haven. This office is in the home I share with my pup Snowy Olive, and my partner of 8 years, Rick.

I love aerial yoga, the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Arsenal FC, and jigsaw puzzles.
