Why use Palm Wax?

Palm wax is made from palm fruit, where the oil is extracted to create the wax we use for most of our candles. Palm wax is natural, renewable, and biodegradable. It provides a steady burn with no soot while burning longer.

How long should a candle be allowed to burn?

It is highly advised to not let any candles burn longer than 4 hours. Recommended burn time mentioned on Tranquil Iris refers to 4 hours.

Are you candles custom made to order?

Yes. We make candles based on the submitted order. They are not made beforehand and shipped when purchased.

Are any products made prior to order?

Yes. Hand soap, Shower Steamers, Wax Melts, Beard Oil, Hyaluronic Acid Serum, Lotion Bars, Facial Toner, and and Bath Fizzes are all made prior to order.

Why do the rainbow candles cost more?

Rainbow products cost more because of the time that is required to produce each candle. Every color of the rainbow requires a precise temperature to pour the next color without causing the colors to bleed into one another, and still bond to the prior color layer.

Are the colors shown on the website the exact color of my order?

We cannot guarantee an exact color match as each candle is handmade at the time of order. Many factors can impact the color, such as the humidity and wax amounts per candle. We do seek to provide as close a color match of the order and the product we will send you.

I have questions about using a fragrance not listed in the options?

How long will it take to receive my order?

Currently, we can take up to 7 days to make and ship your order. We aim for the fastest turn around possible. We ship using two-day shipping.

Do you ship 7 days a week?

We ship most products out on Sun-Tuesday to ensure the products are not left in a warehouse over the weekend, as that can cause damage to the candle if the are left in a warm warehouse.

We are a small business located out of Toledo, Ohio. Tranquil Iris is a small business run by one woman, Lynn. Socials are run by her daughter, Aubrey.
